My new dog, Reece.
Ok, so it's not as easy to get on my blog and update it as often as I would like, but I thought I would pass on some pics of my new JRT I just got from a TN trip.

Well I am bound for Denver Colorado tomorrow. I hear they had snow there not long ago, so I will have to pack a few more tube socks. I am really looking forward to this trip and doing all the photography for Ben and Andrea as they get married on Friday. I am hoping to also get lots of great shots of the rockies, even as the world series takes place out there. If only I had a world series ticket... Oh well. I will have some pictures of Colorado posted sometime in November so stay tuned.

Back to back weddings
Well last weekend was a busy one, having to shoot a wedding up in Durham NC, get back at 2am and get up the next morning to shoot another wedding an hour from hy home. But it was fun and over all a great success and very educational as well. The wedding in Durham gave me a chance to brush up on my Spanish since only a few seemed to speak English. So instead of the ole faithful "one, two, three, and snap" it was "uno, dos, tres... " My assistant Rafael was a great help to me at this wedding.

Pictures from my job assignment in PA
The spectacular view off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. I decided to take a detour off I-81 on my way back to NC. Some of my favorite sunset pictures are actually taken after the sun has gone down.
Some of the city lights begin to come on as the sunlight slowly fades from the sky.
My good ole Camry joining me on my expedition through the winding, climbing mountains of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
So that's why they are called blue.
I caught this little fella chomping on the grass at the house where I was staying. Fortunately he was not the shy type so he did not scurry off until I was only a few feet away. I think he may have even posed for me a little bit.
Amish country at it's finest in the heart of Lancaster, PA.
Amish transportation with a one horsepower engine.
House in Lancaster. Must have had a sale on orange that day.
A great place to visit in Lancaster is the Sight and Sound Theaters. I didn't have time to watch a production, but they are doing the week of creation now called "In the Beginning." If you are in the area check it out and let me know how it goes. Right out front you will see what is pictured below. The Lion and the Lamb.

Back from trip to PA
Soon I will be posting some pics from my trip to Ben Salem, PA. I shot a wedding up there but on my way back I stopped at several places to photograophically record my journey. I especially enjoyed the Blue Ridge Parkway, which I traveled for about 3 hours. You certainly don't get on this road for speed.... but the view is spectacular. Come back soon and check on those pictures and be sure to let me know what you think.
